A career built across
two continents.
Deepak Suthar holds a degree in Civil Engineering from one of India's leading institutes and an MBA from an East African university. His career in construction spans over three decades, beginning in 1994 in Kampala, Uganda, where he rose from Project Manager to CEO across multinational construction firms.
Over fifteen years in East Africa, he delivered projects for Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Bank, Crane Bank, Orient Bank, the British Embassy, the American Embassy, the Norwegian Embassy, Metro Cash and Carry, the Serena Hotel, Nile Breweries, the Nile Power Project, Malago Hospital, the African University, the Kampala Road Development Programme, and the Kampala Water Treatment Plant, among others.
In 2009, he returned to India. His first undertaking was a 200 villa residential township in Gujarat, followed by staff quarters for Deepak Cement and Sparta Cement, and infrastructure works for Adani Port. Following the successful delivery of these projects, he shifted operations to Mumbai, where from 2011 onward he served on the boards of several prominent real estate firms, overseeing project acquisitions, design, and construction.
Aryan Constructions was founded in 2020 to bring this accumulated experience under one roof. He remains directly involved in every project the firm takes on, from first estimate through to handover, and continues to spend the majority of his working week on site.
